Who is responsible for your data

This website is operated by Peleg Global Brand, which is the data controller for the personal data described here. Our registered address and contact details are at the end of this page.

What you send us

When you use the contact form we collect exactly the fields it asks for, and nothing else: your name, your company, your email address, your country or territory, which product line interests you, your message, and the fact that you ticked the consent box. There is no payment, no account and no profile.

If you message us on WhatsApp

The site shows a WhatsApp button. If you use it, your message and your phone number reach us through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and subject to Meta's own privacy terms as well as this notice. Those messages are not stored in this website's database.

Your IP address

Every contact submission is checked against a short-term limit of no more than five from one address in ten minutes, so the form cannot be used for automated abuse. Your address is stored only for that check, for ten minutes, and is then deleted automatically. It is never attached to your enquiry. Our hosting provider keeps its own standard server logs, as any web host does.

Cookies, analytics and fonts

The platform this site runs on sets a small number of cookies and includes a basic analytics tool. This is everything they do:

• ·Cookies from our hosting platform keep the site secure and send your request to the right server.
• ·The analytics tool records page views, a randomly generated session number, and how quickly pages load. It tells us the site is working and roughly how much it is used. It does not build a profile of you.
• ·The site remembers your place on a page while you browse. That is cleared when you close the tab.
• ·The typefaces come from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• ·We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers, and none of this is sold or shared with advertisers.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry and to continue the commercial conversation, which is the only reason the form exists. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box, together with our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Two related uses rest on legitimate interest alone: notifying ourselves when an enquiry arrives so it is not missed, and limiting how often the form can be submitted from one address to keep it usable. Keeping a record of enquiries is ordinary business record-keeping, and a legal obligation where tax or accounting law requires it.

• ·You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@vitacanepetfood.com. That does not affect anything done lawfully beforehand.
• ·We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry passes through the services this website runs on, each acting on our instructions and only in order to provide their service: Supabase stores it in our database, Resend sends us the notification email so the content of your enquiry passes through it, Cloudflare hosts and serves the site, and Lovable is the platform the site is built and deployed on. If you use the WhatsApp button, Meta carries that message instead. Beyond these, your enquiry is not copied anywhere else: not into a customer database, a mailing list, an accounting system or any other tool. We share personal data outside this list only where the law requires it, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business.

Where your data goes

Our service providers operate outside Israel, including in the European Union and the United States. Each publishes the safeguard it relies on for those transfers, taken from their own data processing agreements:

• ·Supabase: the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses
• ·Resend: Standard Contractual Clauses, and certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework
• ·Cloudflare: Standard Contractual Clauses, and certification under the EU–US and Swiss–US Data Privacy Frameworks
• ·Lovable: Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2, controller to processor), with the UK and Swiss addenda

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the relationship becomes an ongoing commercial one, in which case they are kept for as long as it lasts and for the period tax and accounting law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you or to someone else in a portable format. Email info@vitacanepetfood.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge, and you do not need to use any particular form or wording.

If you want to complain

Please tell us first, at info@vitacanepetfood.com, and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In the EEA that is your national authority; in the UK it is the Information Commissioner’s Office; in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Children

This is a business-to-business website for distributors. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
